Sensor Integration Patterns#
Sensors convert physical quantities โ temperature, acceleration, light intensity, distance, sound pressure โ into electrical signals that a microcontroller can sample and process. The sensor itself is only part of the problem. Reliable sensor integration requires understanding analog front-end design, digital bus protocols, noise characteristics, calibration workflows, and the firmware patterns that turn raw readings into usable data. A perfectly chosen sensor with a poorly configured ADC or a missing decoupling capacitor produces data that looks plausible but leads to wrong decisions.
